Living with mental illness can be difficult. So, if you need help or know someone who needs help with their mental health or mental illness here is a list of resources that can be helpful.


1. Mental Health Guides and Toolkits: Look into creating or collaborating on mental health guides tailored specifically for young Black individuals. These resources can include coping strategies, self-care tips, and information about seeking professional help.

2. Community Workshops and Seminars: Host workshops and seminars covering various aspects of mental health, including stress management, mindfulness, resilience-building, and navigating mental health challenges specific to the Black community.

3. Online Support Groups: Establish online support groups or forums where young Black individuals can connect, share experiences, and support one another in a safe and understanding environment.

4. Therapeutic Services and Counseling: Partner with mental health professionals who specialize in culturally competent therapy to offer counseling sessions or therapy programs catered to the needs of young Black individuals.

5. Educational Materials: Develop engaging and culturally relevant educational materials such as videos, podcasts, or articles focusing on mental health awareness and destigmatization within the Black community.

6. Collaboration with Schools and Universities: Collaborate with educational institutions to implement mental health programs, awareness campaigns, and counseling services for students.
